Dr. Ben (Benyamin) Ebrahim is a fellowship trained cornea, external disease, refractive surgery specialist. After graduating from Rutgers University with "Highest Honors", he attended medical school at the Rutgers Univeristy--Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He completed his internship in internal medicine at Geogetown/Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC.
Dr. Ebrahim completed his ophthalmology residency at Georgetown University - Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. Subsequently, he went to Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, where he completed his cornea fellowship under the mentorship of Dr. Penny Asbell, with affiliation with Columbia University-New York Presbyterian Hospital. In addition to general ophthalmology and cataract surgery, Dr. Ebrahim specializes in corneal diseases, corneal transplants and refractive surgery.
Dr. Ebrahim is a board certified ophthalmologist by the American Board of Ophthalmology. His professional memberships include American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) and Tennessee Academy of Ophthalmology. Additionally, Dr. Ebrahim is actively involved in his church community in Nashville and enjoys church hymns, history, and spending time with his wife and two children.
